How to Choose the Best Smoker for Meat?

You can easily make a good smoked meat in any all-purpose gas or charcoal grill. However, nothing beats a quality modern barbecue smoker. A specialized smoker can easily make some, amazing salmon, ribs and even pulled pork.

Modern smokers can cook the food within the required time, without bothering you with temperature monitoring, meat spritzing, shoveling of coal or adding wood chips and there is no need, to fiddle with the damper. It makes the food as required, no over or under-cooking. You do not have to worry about ash, soot or creosote.

Besides, a quality-cooking smoker is supposed to be versatile in that it can make barbecues as well as nutritious foods like pastrami and smoked turkey. Moreover, they come in different shapes and tend to be versatile even in fuel choices.

Here is a look at how you can easily buy a quality food smoker, without worrying if it will deliver or not.

1.     Price

You should consider how much you are willing to spend on a food smoker in relation to how you are going to use it.

Consequently, you can start with a small one at a cheaper price, maybe a vertical water smoker. This type of smoker can easily make barbecue. Besides, it is what most people prefer. However, if you run a business, you can opt for a larger size and it will probably cost a lot.

In addition, remember to ask for any shipping charges or sales tax, before opting for any type of food smoker.

2.     Features

This depends on what you are looking for, as some people often prefer to sit around and make the barbecue by the fire, in a group or as a family. While others like to automate everything as they wait to eat.

Therefore, it is up to you, if you want to be involved in every step of the cooking or not. Nonetheless, if you want to automate the whole process look for ones with electric and computer control systems.

3.     Versatility

There are loads of multipurpose smokers that can smoke and grill at the same time. However, you will have to dig more into your pockets if you want the best of both worlds. This is because some less-expensive ones often promise to grill and smoke but can only offer one option better.

4.     Fuel Type

You can also factor in the fuel type that will be used to cook the food. Always go for the convenient and cheap form of fuel. Otherwise, you will end up spending more on energy costs than food.

Hardwood, wood pellets, charcoal, electricity, and propane usually fuel food smokers. You can opt for any but know that there are advantages and disadvantages to all of them. Here is how.

·         Charcoal and Wood Smokers

Charcoal and wood smokers are the most traditional forms of food smokers that can add some authentic flavoring to your food. Besides, the most cost-effective smokers use charcoal but you can also find some expensive ones that use it too.

You just have to ensure you have easy access to the wood or charcoal. Otherwise, it might be difficult to use such a smoker.

·         Pellet Smokerspellet smoker

These types of smokers use electrical power but tend to burn wood pellets in order to give out heat as well as smoke. Moreover, they are as convenient as electric smokers are, and can give your food an authentic natural aroma, just as wood and charcoal smokers do.

·         Electric Food smokers

Electric smoker

These are the most convenient smokers but they lack flavoring. They are computer controlled and easy to use. You just set the smoker and let it cook your food until it is ready and edible. One of the best electric smokers in the market right now is  Masterbuilt 20077515.

·         Propane Smokers

propane smokerPropane smokers usually heat the food very faster than electric smokers do, but they are very easy to use with zero level of harmful emissions.

5.     Size

Most food smokers have specifications, for how much food you can actually cook with it. Therefore, if you run a business or want a smoker for parties, then you will have to buy a larger one. However, if it is only for the family weekends, you can opt for a smaller size.

So consider the amount of barbecue you are going to make before buying any smoker.

Conclusively, you need a quality modern food smoker that can smoke your food the best way possible, no matter the cost. Besides, always check for reputable brand stamps as there are loads of generic smokers that cost-less but do nothing to your food.…

Don’t Buy Magna-Tiles Until You Read This!

The Magna-Tiles Translucent Colors 100 Pieces Set Is Not Suitable For Everyone:

You’re probably thinking about buying Magna Tiles for their educational value and all the fun both children and adults can have with them. The price point is justified by the fact that Magna Tiles is a long-term investment. Your child will likely carry them into his/her teens and adulthood and likely never toss them aside.

On top of this, the translucent colors set is beautiful! You can form an attractive geometric shape and leave it to stay by the window, where the sunlight will glisten throughout the object.

But they’re not suitable for everyone!

Let me explain.

Magna Tiles require a little more delicacy and patience than say Lego bricks. The pieces come together through the use of magnets on their edges and can easily fall apart when you form a complex object.

If you’re thinking about buying these for a child who is yet to develop a delicate use of their hands or someone who is somewhat impatient or quick to anger, then Magna Tiles may not be the best option at this time.

Sure, Magna Tiles will help develop manual dexterity in your child, but if you get them before they’re ready, your child might just throw them aside in frustration, perhaps never to try them again, or not for a few good years anyway.

Magna Tiles are frequently used in schools as an excellent way to not just teach maths, but to teach children how to apply their mathematical knowledge to their environment by experimenting with volumes and geometric shapes.

Magna Tiles can teach how to count, add and subtract, and can help your child to understand areas, volumes, and fractions. Outside of maths, they can be used for problem-solving and enhancing creativity.

But remember that in schools Magna Tiles are used by teachers who are skilled in recognizing when a child is ready to use them.

The only reason you might have to purchase the Standard sets is that they’re a little cheaper. But the difference in price is next to nothing when you consider that Magna Tiles are usually a lifetime investment. I have both the standard and translucent sets, and I have to say – the standard set is plain ugly in comparison.

The 32 piece sets are simply not enough. The most common complaint by customers, even with the 100 piece sets is when you really want to get adventurous, you just don’t have enough pieces! And getting 32-piece sets is just not cost-effective. And what of the Deluxe (DX) set?

The Deluxe set includes a wheeled piece that your child can make little Magna Tiles cars with, and an arch and three other special shapes. Here’s an example of a toy car built with this set.

It’s cute. But to be honest the deluxe set only adds a few extra possibilities to Magna Tiles. You can use the Deluxe set as a supplement, but the best first set to go for hands down is the Magna-Tiles Translucent Colors 100 Pieces Set. Not only can you create all sorts of shapes such as the elephant shown below, but the shapes you create and the separate pieces just look plain beautiful!

Due to the good customer reviews, they’re selling extremely fast. Prices are rising as a result and they’ll be sold out before Christmas.…
